Infinity Aerospace of San Diego, California, assembled a comprehensive proposal for a joint-venture relationship with SIA Engineering (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Singapore Airlines) that would lead to a long-term collaboration in the production of components and regional service support for a micro-light military aircraft.
The aircraft, based on Infinity's engineering specifications, was designed as a highly-maneuverable, jet-propelled, canard-configured composite aircraft capable of simulating full-scale tactical air-to-air combat.
This micro-light plane was to be used as a low-cost trainer by air forces in developing nations, especially in South East Asia and the Far East.
