Proposal Project Management System
Summary
Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding Co. Ltd. provided the Indonesian government with a proposal for the design and development of, and on-site training for, an extensive Project Management System (based on Artemis technologies).
MES was subsequently awarded a contract for the system which is now used on projects related to heavy shipbuilding (commercial and military) and the on-going maintenance of vessels at the PT.PAL facilities in Surabaya, Indonesia.
Components of this project management system were also transfered to the other key members of Indonesia's Strategic Industries, including the aerospace research and aircraft manufacturer, Industri Pesawat Terbang Nusantara (IPTN), now known as Indonesian Aerospace.
