Proposal Facility/Utility Management System
Summary

The construction of one of the world's largest airports (in terms of land size), the King Khalid International Airport near Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, was awarded to the Arabian Bechtel Company.

As part of the project, Bechtel (on behalf of the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Defence) requested a proposal from, and subsequently awarded a contract to, the Intergraph Corporation (through its regional subsidiary, Intergraph Al Khaleej).

The successful project proposal defined all the terms for the design, development, installation, and support of a comprehensive facility/utility management system — a system that would be used during the airport's planning, construction and long-term infrastructural operations.

Project Value

US$ 5,250,000
