This IDB-funded project required a comprehensive bid-proposal, which defined the recommendations and specifications for the design, development and integration of a government-wide Geographic Information System (GIS) in the Bahamas.
The general objective of the project was to promote and advance the efficient and practical use of integrated geographically referenced land information to support decisions regarding land resource management and physical development.
The proposal included detailed cost estimations for all aspects of the project during its two year implementation period.
